29 November 2021 - January Concert Change


In a change to the printed leaflet our January Concert will now be performed by Classical Guitarist Emanuele Addis. We are still awaiting further details so please keep an eye on the January Concert page.


There are still memberships and single tickets available and you can print your own Application Form online from the Prices & Forms page.


6 September 2021 - Application Forms Now Available


If you have been a member in recent years then you will receive a letter, 4-fold leaflet and application forms very soon.


Otherwise you can access and print your own Season 75 Application Form online from the Prices & Forms page.


We expect to hold our concerts in a very similar fashion to previous years. However, we will be reducing interaction in the foyer by not holding a raffle and only a reduced programme will be available. For the latest information regarding Covid protocols at the venue please refer to The Lights Website before attending a concert.

May 2019 - Parking Update

Andover Music Club History


A large part of the Music Club's history is available on the web site by following the Previous Seasons link. If you own programmes from the earlier, missing, concerts then do please contact us. There are email links located at the bottom of Season pages 1 to 50. If you have any old programmes then please bring them along to the next concert and pass them to a committee member. Currently we have no programme details for Seasons 1 to 7, so we especially look forward to filling these gaps in our records.

Concert Attendance Information


It is great to be holding concerts again, however, we do need to follow a few precautions to help keep everyone safe. Below are the main points that are relevant for our concerts (as at 20-Oct-21). For the very latest guidelines please visit the Lights Covid Update page.


  • Always try and maintain a respectful distance from others (excepting those in your own social bubble).
  • It is requested that face masks be worn in all of the foyer areas, but they can be removed in the auditorium during the concert.
  • Please utilise the hand sanitiser that is available in various locations.
  • To reduce social contact please be aware of the following in the foyer:
    • Pre-bought tickets & membership cards will be available in a named envelope
    • To pay for tickets or membership we now accept credit card
    • A reduced single-page concert programme will be available to collect from the normal table, for free. Or, you can print your own Concert Programme
    • Club merchandise will not be sold in the foyer but you will be able to exchange your gift vouchers as required
    • The cloakroom will not be available, please take your coats into the auditorium
    • The doors to the auditorium will be opened earlier than usual to reduce crowding
    • If you plan to sit near the front of the stalls make use of the side entrances
  • In the auditorium there is plenty of space for all attendees so please allow a good distance between your group and others
  • You are welcome to remain seated in the auditorium during the interval if you prefer
  • It should be noted that to ensure good airflow through the auditorium the temperature may be cooler than normal

Below is more general information regarding our concerts:

Concerts take place in the tiered auditorium of the Lights, Andover. Seats are unreserved, so concert goers choose their seat on arrival.

Access is available to all, but it would enhance your experience if those concert goers with special needs could contact Steve Davis by beforehand to discuss their specific requirements. An induction loop is also available, please enquire at the cloakroom. There is no formal dress code.

The Lights Arena offers a full bar service as well as teas, coffees and ice cream for pre-concert and interval drinks, which can be ordered beforehand.

We hope you have an enjoyable experience at our concerts. Members of the committee are visible in the foyer prior to the concert and during the interval should you have any queries or questions.
